Set Me on Fire
The Jazmine Ava band formed in 2008, as a group of exceptionally talented musicians Geoff Clark (Lead Guitar) and Ken Flatt (Bass). Newer members also joined in 2009 with Christopher Daniels (Saxophone) and Cameron Morrell – (Drums).

Influenced by different genres of Blues, Gypsy, Folk and Country, they made local headlines in the summer of 2008 for playing as prestigious venues all over Essex, Suffolk and London. This included The Charter Hall in Colchester, (which was attended by Peter Green from Fleetwood Mac), The Cramphorn Theatre, Chelmsford and main stages at The Bedford Fringe, Kelvedon, Burnham River and Ipswich Music Day festivals.
The ‘live’ album called ‘Set Me on Fire’ - released Dec 2009 is an outstanding style of raw and passionate music which fuses Jazmine Ava’s songs of lyrical brilliance, breathtaking vocals and acoustic guitar with the upbeat swing of funky folk and old blues rhythms and powerfully honest lead guitar and saxophone solos.
The live performances reach out to all audiences with a full 5 piece band or as acoustic style gigs as a duo or trio. The set list of the performances include original songs from both albums, along with unique cover versions of old and new favourites.
