Comment from Juice Fm presenter - Dec 2007 In a world of unsigned bands and kids trying to make it, it's so refreshing to find an artist not waiting for the record exec to turn up with a dotted line, but instead designing, producing and releasing their own music, and even better she's actually immensly talented.
Jasmine Ava stunned me when I saw her live at her album launch for "Sunshine and Shadows." Her songs are honest, complete and relaxed and best of all she writes what she knows- from the cheeky "Ain't life a bitch" to "Deep Red Wine" she means it.
Behind her understated, polite exterior there's truely talented performer and artist who's not afraid to make the music that she loves. 2008 deserves to be her year.
