Costa Coffee organised a competition that has been battling it out for the last 2 months, and ended up with
8 finalists playing on Sunday 26th October 2008 to
pick a winner.

Accompanied by bass player Ken Flatt and lead guitarist Jamie Butcher, Jazmine Ava went on to win the final with Judges from local Essex bands Silver Light Reaction, Cav Ok, Karilla and promoters Essex Rocks. She will be supporting Karilla on November 22nd at The Twist and will be performing many more slots in and around Essex through Essex Rocks.
