news Summary 2008
What a year! I found some fantastic musicians in Colchester, Matthew Kelly - drums, Ken Flatt - Bass and Geoff Clark - lead guitar as the main band, but also got to play with violin and piano aswell as sax with the nephew of Fleetwood Mac's Peter Green! In the last 6 months I've done 85 gigs in Essex, Suffolk, and London. We played at the St. Osyths and Brightlingsea Festivals and on the main stage of The Bedford Fringe Festival - infront of 4000 people in the summer. My song 'Rainbows' was announced as a semi-finalist in the UK songwriting Contest of 2008.
And then, after performing at the famous Cramphorn Theatre, I was featured in the Essex Chronicle and my album 'Sunshine & Shadow's' was given airplay on BBC Essex. I won a battle of the bands competition in October, and found myself in the centre spread of the Gazette and The Essex County Standard as one of the most up and coming artists in Essex! And What's next? Well, the new year is getting crammed with dates again, including the 20th Century Theatre in London and the main stage at The Kelvedon Festival. I'm working on recording my second album, and with your support, I just might be able to stretch my wings
even further....
